With the warm Santa Ana winds howling down the canyon, the sun shining and gorgeous lemons blooming on our backyard lemon tree, we felt the need for a change this Christmas. In a bold move against tradition and our large stash of Christmas bulbs and ornaments, we designed a Christmas tree glittering with a swoop of cranes, swashes of butterflies, a peck of chinese paper umbrellas adorned with a galaxy of gold paper stars and tiny, translucent boxes–all crafted from paper.
A light filled flock of cranes lifting off and a twinkling vase.

These pictures are fantastic! you have such an eye for color.

I love the translucency of the cranes! But my favorite is the lighted vase picture. It's so imaginative and creative.
